Keep Your Blood Glucose Monitoring Routine Going

Running out of test strips can interrupt your regular monitoring routine. Accu-Chek Instant Test Strips provide a 50-strip replacement pack specifically for customers using the Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose meter.

The strips require approximately 1–2 μL of blood, and when blood is applied while the strip is inside the meter, a result is produced in approximately 5 seconds.

Made for the Accu-Chek Instant System
Different Accu-Chek meters can require different strips. These strips are specifically designed for the Accu-Chek Instant meter, helping customers avoid buying the wrong consumable for their device.

Additional Visual Check
Each strip includes a colour control window that allows an additional visual plausibility check of the measurement. The meter’s displayed value remains the result used for interpretation.

50-Strips Pack
Each pack contains 50 Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose test strips, giving regular users a practical supply of replacement strips. The 50-count presentation is also an officially registered pack size in Nigeria.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry your hands and prepare your Accu-Chek Instant meter and lancing device.
2. Check that the test strips are within their use-by date.
3. Remove one strip and immediately close the container tightly.
4. Insert the test strip into the Accu-Chek Instant meter.
5. Obtain and apply the required blood sample according to the meter instructions.
6. Wait for the blood glucose result to appear on the meter.
7. Remove and safely dispose of the used strip.

Storage & Care

Store between 2°C and 30°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the strips in their original container and close the cap tightly immediately after removing a strip. Do not use strips after the expiry date printed on the container.

When do the test strips expire?
Most packs supplied will usually have about 10 months or more remaining before expiry, although this may vary. The exact expiry date is printed on the container.

Will these strips work with my Accu-Chek Instant meter?
No. These are Accu-Chek Instant Test Strips and are intended for the Accu-Chek Instant meter.

Can I reuse a test strip?
No. Each strip is intended for single use only.
